Independent Contractor

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries along designated routes

  • Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods

  • Navigate route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations

  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, answering questions, and ensuring delivery satisfaction
    • Verify delivery orders, inspect vehicles for safety issues, and maintain accurate delivery documentation
    • Manage the loading process, including heavy lifting and moving items securely within the vehicle
    • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of your vehicle to ensure optimal operation
    • Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks when applicable
    • Report any incidents or delays promptly to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and customer service

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred

  • Ability to handle heavy lifting, moving items, and operate manual transmission vehicles confidently

  • Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts or pallet jacks

  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving

  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards customers

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively

  • Physical stamina for long periods of driving, loading/unloading cargo, heavy lifting, and moving items as needed

Basic Requirements

  • You should have your own vehicle.

  • Be a US citizen, resident, green card or work authorization holder.

  • You and your drivers should speak, understand, and read basic English.

  • Must be able to provide 3 Photos of your vehicles, a copy of your registration, and vehicle insurance.

Vehicle Requirements

  • Sprinter should not be older than 2016.

  • All vehicles should have a minimum of 4 straps

  • All decals should be removed.

  • Driving experience of 6 months.

    We requirement a minimum dimensions of your vehicle (cargo space):

  • Length - 100 inches.

  • Width - 48 inches.

  • Height - 53 inches.

Rates

  • $200-500 daily (Depending on local Contract)
